This role requires being able to manage installation crews on multiple projects of audiovisual and production systems. Must have a professional manner with excellent organization, time management and communications skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial audiovisual project management and a proven history of successful project completions along with manufacturer/industry certifications. This position requires working closely with our tech ops team, General Contractors, other trades and the client to bring the job in on time and on budget while exceeding client’s expectations. Key position requirements are: · Responsible for on-time and on-budget installations meeting ClarkPowell’s strict safety and quality standards · Working directly with our clients and partners to establish project timeline and anticipated completion date · Reviewing drawings, submittals, and bid documents for understanding of scope and to detect omissions, corrections, clarifications · Attend all necessary contractor/client meetings · Coordinate ship dates of all project related equipment and confirm arrival prior to on-site installation · Confirm and review staged equipment prior to installation and configuration · Able to communicate clearly in written and verbal form. · Must have knowledge of construction rules and codes related to AV and low-voltage systems · Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects

LEAD TECHNICIAN Raleigh - Winston-Salem - Charlotte, NC
ClarkPowell is looking for a highly skilled Audio Visual Lead Technician to lead crews on the installation of professional audio visual equipment. Must have a professional manner with excellent communication skills and take pride in your work. This audio visual position requires working closely with project managers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and our clients to complete the project to a high-quality, on time and within budget.
Key position requirements are:
Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision
Minimum 5 years experience in audio visual installation
Ability to read and implement Electronic CAD designs
Ability to read building blue prints
Ability to motivate and manage staff and sub-contractors
High standard of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, crimping, and structural installation
Ability to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionality
Videoconference installation and configuration experience a plus
AVIXA CTS, CTS-I certified a plus
OSHA 10 or 30 certified a plus

ClarkPowell is looking for a Purchasing Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of purchasing functions working with our sales and accounting teams, as well as our vendors.
This is a full-time, Monday - Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) in person position. Key position requirements are:
2+ years of purchasing experience
Detailed orientated with strong organizational and communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsible for processing orders for the sales/inside sales team using Sage 100
Responsible for following up and sending tracking/status updates to the team

This is a full-time, Monday - Friday (8:00am- 5:00pm) in person position.
Key position requirements are:
2+ years of accounts receivable and customer relations experience
Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills -- both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to evaluate processes and recommend improvements
Possess a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, honesty, and integrity
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Responsibilities
Coordinate and distribute customer invoices via email or by uploading to customer websites and portals.
Track and monitor incoming ACH/EFT payments.
Prepare and process remote check deposits.
Record deposit transactions in accounting system.
Process credit card payments in third-party software.
Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
Monitor the AR aging report and regularly follow-up on past-due invoices.
Prepare customer invoices for deposits and prepayments.
Reconcile the customer deposits GL account and maintain a detailed schedule as supporting documentation.
Request and review onboarding documents required for new customers including credit references.
Work with other teams within the company including sales and purchasing.
Additional projects and reporting as needed.
